After you have connected your Square account, you will be able to import products already in your Square account. To do this either select Add a Product from the Home Screen or go to the main menu and select Products > Import > Select the Items you want to Import or Import All. 

Selecting the circle by Name will select all available items to import.

Alternatively, you can search for or scroll through your products to select specific products to import. 

Once you hit import, your products will successfully come over to Vincipia. Any edits you make to your products in Vincipia will be reflected in Square and any edits done in Square will be reflected in Vincipia. 

When first bringing products over, you will need to set your item type. You can do this by selecting the item, clicking edit and selecting the correct product type. 

Select the Product and click edit

Click on the arrow for the drop down menu by type and select the appropriate category, then hit Save Changes

To add specific alcohol compliance regulations, click on the Variation (you would click on Regular in this example)

These fields are set as required for Alcohol Compliance regulations based on industry compliance standards. 

You will also see under variation are toggles for Distribution Types these can be changed by selecting edit.

Wholesale and Direct are used to categorize your products. This is especially relevant if you are using our ShipCompliant integration. 

Turning on the eCommerce toggle will add this product to your Vincipia eCommerce page.
