Troubleshooting adding Products in ShipCompliant


When using the ShipCompliant and Square integrations, all new products should be created in Vincipia and then sent to Square and ShipCompliant via our integrations.

If you are using the ShipCompliant integration and are receiving an error when trying to add a product from Vincipia to ShipCompliant there could be several reasons.

1. The product SKU already exists in ShipCompliant. If a product SKU already exists, you will not be able to add it. You can either remove the item from ShipCompliant and then add it from Vincipia or you can remove the item from Vincipia and Square and import it from ShipCompliant. 

2. You have not correctly filled out the necessary information in the compliance fields

3. The product description exceeds 255 characters. This is a restriction within ShipCompliant. Your descriptions will need to be shortened in order to be added to ShopCompliant
