If you are getting started with Vincipia, confirm with your sales rep whether you need to follow the steps below for the initial import or if Vincipia's import team will be bringing in your members.
If your customers are already in Square and you have already
created your club(s) in Vincipia, follow the following steps to import members:
If you are using a Square Group linked to a Vincipia Club, only new members added to that group will be added automatically. Existing members in the group will need to be imported through the below steps.
1. Go to the Membership tab in Vincipia
2: Select "Import Member"
3. Search for your Member(s)
Once you have selected Import Member, you can scroll through the list for members to individually import or you can narrow your search by selecting Search By: the select Email Address, Phone Number, Group, or Reference ID. (These search parameters are a limitation of the Square API) Once you enter the search criteria click the magnifying glass to begin the search.
4. Select Members
Once you have completed your search, you can select all members that match the search criteria by clicking the circle next to name, or you can individually select a member by selecting the circle next to their name.
Note: You will only be able to import 20 members at a time. Please repeat steps 1-6 until all members are moved into Vincipia.
5. Select Club
Select which club you want to import the members into through the drop down menu at the top, which says Select Club.
6. Import
Once you have the club selected, the Import button will appear at the bottom right corner. Once you click Import, all selected club members will be imported to the club.
Congratulations you have imported your member(s) into Vincipia!
